As busy and hectic as life can be, it’s easy to forget to take a few minutes to be grateful for all the things and people that make life worthwhile. Without patients, we wouldn’t have a practice at all, and we’re thankful for each and every one who chooses us over all the other dentists in Harrisonburg.
Here are five reasons why Dr. Eye, a Harrisonburg Dentist, and the entire staff here at Exceptional Smiles Family Dentistry truly appreciate our patients.
They Inspire Us to Be Better
Knowing how to perform a cleaning or fill a cavity is of course important, but our patients make us want to be the best we can be and always keep improving ourselves and our work. This means we are constantly learning about the newest technologies, procedures and equipment so that we can give our patients the absolute best care.
They Are Incredibly Loyal
Many of our patients have been with us for years, and we are incredibly appreciative that they keep coming back and sending their friends and loved ones to us as well. It makes us feel confident about the work we do and allows us to form a special bond with each patient we see.
They Trust Us
Walking into a dentist’s office is not a matter that some people take lightly. There are many people out there who have anxiety about having dental work done, and we pride ourselves on making their visits as stress free as possible. It takes an enormous amount of trust for those patients to allow us to work on them, and we are extremely grateful that they are able to do so.
“No one who achieves success does so without acknowledging the help of others. The wise and confident acknowledge this help with gratitude.”
—Alfred North Whitehead
They Are Constantly Teaching Us
Each case is different and has a separate and unique person attached to it. This makes our job both challenging and rewarding because we get to learn so many different things in order to tailor our treatment to each individual patient.
They Make Work Fun
We love our jobs, but the patients at our practice are what really make us happy to come in to the office every day. Whether they’re familiar faces or first-timers, we look forward to the smiles and conversations we get to have and we love getting to know the people we care for. They tell us stories and make us laugh, which is truly the best part of our day!
