Find Out What Makes Exceptional Smiles Family Dentistry Different From All the Other Harrisonburg Dentists

Dad and Rob

There’s no shortage of Harrisonburg Dentists in this area.

Whether you just moved to town or you already have a dentist and are looking to switch, finding the right dentist for you can be challenging. That’s why we want to take a few moments to tell you about what makes Exceptional Smiles Family Dentistry different from all the other practices in the area.

Our Philosophy

We are a family run business made up of a father-son team, Dr. Kenneth R. Eye in Woodstock and Dr. Kenneth “Rob” Eye II in Harrisonburg. Since 1935, we’ve been striving to be the best dentists in the Shenandoah Valley and to make sure our patients are always smiling.

We pride ourselves on building trust and rapport with each person who sits in our chair, and we consider them a part of the Exceptional Smiles family. Our staff is always friendly, compassionate and caring, and we stay up to date on the latest technology and training to give our patients the best care available.

What Makes Us Different

Our number one priority is to make our patients feel as comfortable as possible. Whether it’s a routine cleaning or an in-depth procedure, we want you to always feel at ease when you’re in our chair. We believe that the patient should always be in control, and we encourage patients to ask questions and make sure that we explain what’s going on every step of the way.

Many people experience dental anxiety, and as a result, end up neglecting their teeth for years. Our team has undergone training to help alleviate anxiety and provide painless, calming care that’s tailored to each individual patient. We offer several different methods of safe, conscious sedation so you can be both aware and relaxed during your visit.

In addition to making your visit as stress-free as possible, we also go to great lengths to create a family-friendly environment. Dr. Eye has completed a pediatric dentistry residency program in order to become familiar with the latest in pediatric dental techniques and technologies. He treats children as young as one year old and offers a variety of child-specific services to help develop good oral hygiene habits.
